Packaging & Shipping
How long will it take to get my sofa?
Can I get my sofa delivered into my home?
Yes, see our Shipping Process and Policies page. We can work to quote a white glove (inside the home and set up) delivery with our third party freight partners depending on the COVID policies for your particular state, and we would bill you the difference between what the standard freight that is included in your order and the cost for the upgraded service. Please email or call us after placing your order if you are in need of this upgraded level of delivery service.
Does shipping include bringing the sofa into my home?
No, our standard shipping that is included with your order is a “curbside” delivery that is contracted with a delivery appointment, meaning the freight company will call you to set up that appointment. It is important that you answer your phone, or call them back to schedule the appointment if you miss their call. They are responsible for getting your furniture off of the truck, but they are not responsible for bringing it inside your home. If you need an upgraded level of delivery service, we can make that happen for you, please email or call us after placing your order.
How is my furniture packaged?
We use three layers of wrapping: a layer of foam, cardboard, and then a heavy plastic. We then put everything in a cardboard crate and secure that crate to a wooden pallet. See our informational video on the Our Process page for more information on packaging and our company as a whole.
Payment & Warranty
What type of warranty does Kingfisher Furniture offer?
We offer a lifetime warranty on all of our frames, and a three year warranty on our cushions from pancaking. If you have a warranty issue, please call or email us and we will make sure you are taken care of in a timely manner.
What happens if there is damage during shipment?
See our Shipping Process and Policies page for detailed instructions under the customer responsibilities section. Essentially, if after you unwrap and uncrate your pieces while the driver is still onsite and you notice damage to one or multiple pieces, please take a number of photos with your phone, and get the driver to note any and all of these damages on the bill of lading. Do not sign the bill of lading before you are satisfied with the damages noted on it. Please then send us the photos of the damage(s) and a photo of the bill of lading as soon as possible so we can work on the insurance claim for reimbursement. Kingfisher Furniture insures your furniture up to the full retail value, and we will make sure that things are made right, however, we need your help with this process because it is almost impossible to get reimbursement on damage claims when there are no damages noting on the bill of lading, and we do not have photos of the damages.
Is there damage insurance on KF shipments?
Yes, see answer above. We insure your furniture up to the full retail cost.

Where are you located and do you have a showroom?
We do not have a showroom. We are an online retailer that builds all of our furniture at our factory in Lewisville, TX. We would be happy to schedule a factory visit for you if you are near to the area, or would like to make a trip to come see us. We can give you a tour of the facility.
